MARGINS EDITORIAL

You’re a writer with a draft manuscript. You’ve given it your all, but you aren’t sure if it is ready for submission.

Or, you’ve hit a block and you need an experienced person’s help to brainstorm.

Margins Editorial will give your writing the expert and personalised attention it deserves, whatever stage you are at. Offered by prize-winning author of two literary novels, Santanu Bhattacharya, we believe that creativity works best when done in collaboration.

WHY THIS WHY NOW

WHY THIS WHY NOW

Getting published has never been more competitive, and your manuscript gets only one chance at grabbing attention.

Yet writing is often a solitary process, and after months or years immersed in a draft, it can be difficult to see the work objectively. At a certain stage, what you need is not more generic advice, but someone with experience and expertise to read your work, offer honest and constructive feedback, and brainstorm a stronger path forward.

Margins Editorial provides thoughtful and rigorous editorial mentorship. You could be at any stage of your writing journey, working on any form of creative prose. Your manuscript could be finished or unfinished. You could want to publish traditionally or by yourself. Under-represented voices such as queer and global majority stories are welcome.

You will collaborate with Santanu Bhattacharya, prize-winning author of two novels and several works of short fiction and nonfiction. You know exactly who you are working with, and what strengths and skills they bring.

Remember, you don’t have to do this alone! Check out our services and get in touch.
